2005 – 2007 : Doctoral student atthe EHESS social science school in Paris under the supervision of Professor Claudine Cohen. PhD incomplete.

2004: Masters Degree in Fine Art (DEA en Arts et sociétés actuelles) at the Université de Michel de Montaigne, Bordeaux 3, Bordeaux, France.

2003 : Bachelors degree in Fine Art, Université de Michel de Montaigne, Bordeaux 3, Bordeaux, France.

2000 : DNAP (National Diploma in Fine Art) from the Avignon School of Art (3 years practical study).

Conferences

2019: Culture Matters, Organised by University of Auckland Art History Society, Auckland, NZ. Gave paper on problems with the concept of “prehistory” in Aotearoa / New Zealand and contemporary art / European exhibitions.

2018 : Intellectual Property and Human Rights: Shifting Boundaries, AUT, Auckland, NZ. Gave paper in which I discussed Indigenous film, art and problems of cultural appropriation.

2018 : Narrative Matters, Enschede, Netherlands. Gave paper on Contemporary art in New Zealand.

2010 : Freelance decoration for private client in French Villa in the South of France : colour scheme, object and furniture installation.

2006 : One year apprenticeship with Joel Guerin, Master craftsman, doing restoration of traditional furniture including French polish, Vernon, France.
